Device balance vs billing

Hi there, I've recently noticed my device balance is $0 but there has been no change to my monthly bill total. Isn't it supposed to go down once it's been paid off as I know own the device. No trade in deal or anything like that. Thanks

Device Balance

Why is my device Balance not available in the mobile app?  It used to be under the phone tab but not there anymore. I do not like having to leave the mobile app and go to web account to access this info.
