Setup Service Fee Add-On?

I changed my plan to a promotional offer through the website, but noticed there's an add-on called "Setup Service Fee" for $45.00/mo. attached. Can someone clarify what this is? I'm a little confused if this is something I have to pay additionally each month??

What if you do a tablet upgrade - you cannot self service, the option is not available.

Welcome to the Community! 

A $45 Set-up fee is applicable on new activations and also hardware upgrades on existing lines. However, if you process these requests through our self-serve options on Fido.ca, the charge is automatically credited back to you.
