I just called Fido to process a transfer of ownership of one of my lines to my daughter. The agent told us that contracts can't be transferred and there would be a cancellation fee.. but when I read on lune the contract should be transferable ?

The early cancellation fees are the remaining device balance from your current line. If you have a subsidy, the new owner (your daughter) will have to pay the early cancellation fees. With the Fido payment program, the entire device balance will be charged back to the existing Account Holder.
From what the agent told you, it seems that you have the Fido Payment program with your line. You can contact us back to confirm or we can send you a PM.
