I got my new phone and new SIM card today  and when I went to activate the new SIM card the old SIM card appeared to be not valid even though I just took it off of my fully functioning old phone.  why is this happening?

Hi @shyshy88,

You can't have more than one sim card activated simultaneously. So if you activated your new one, it's normal that the old one no longer works.

If ever you want to go back to using your old phone, simply let us know and we will activate the old one.

I hope this answers!

Hi I have a new phone I want activate my new Sim card

Hello Hammer69,

  Welcome to the community!

What type of plan do you have? SIM cards for monthly accounts can only be activated on Fido.ca via MyAccount or in a Fido store. For prepaid accounts it can only be done in a store (see here).

To do it on Fido.ca select the Services tab, and click on Mobile. You'll then see the option Update SIM Card. (see here).

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers
