Resolved! Smartphone from HK

I bought a smartphone from Hong Kong about a year ago and have been using Fido's prepaid service (just calls and texts).  Would I be able to switch to a montly plan that includes data?     ***Edited to add labels***

NO SERVICE!!!!!!!!

I haven't been able to use my phone for ANYTHING all day....CAN'T get through to anyone on the phone...so much for FIDO making it easier to speack to a real person!     ***Edited to add labels***

Resolved! Cant connect to Mobile Plan

I recently changed my plan to the 6gb one. I have the Fido Nexus S.  I can't connect to the 3G or even the 2G network, but i can send text and i can call? What is causing this? I live in Quebec.     ***Edited to add labels***
