I just upgraded my phone to a Samsung A5. I used voicemail on my old phone without out any issues. Now on my A5 I try to use my voicemail and it tells me my number is not valid. So how does one setup voicemail on an A5? I tried to do it myself but I just keep getting "That number isn't valid".

When you upgraded your phone, did you also change plans? It sounds like the voicemail feature may be missing from your account.

I did not change plans. I did call in and speak with a rep that had to add my voicemail feature manually to my account and everything is now working. Forgot to update message. Thanks for contacting me and offering your support.

Did you recently remove a value pack or when you updated ?
Your new plan may includes just a mini voicemail like me - it was not established automatically upon removing pack @FidoMaria will help you.
Check under settings / call / voicemail if service is provided by carrier click that...then check below under setup to verify the number * +15145837548
