I just got a call from (368) 524-0680 saying I wa eligible for a 30% discount on my bill and they asked for my email, to which they sent a 6 digit code. They also asked me for my legal name but cut the call when I wasn't willing to give it to them.
Is this a new scam going around? @

I got one little while ago from fidomobile.ca domain. It has a 6 didt code. I was suspicious and maintained as if I never received any e-mail even though I have one coming in.

Hello Kvinny26,
Welcome to the community!
Thank you for informing the community. However, I'm not sure that particular email was a SCAM. As far as I am aware Fido does send emails from fidomobile.ca (see here). In addition, I just checked one of my recent account change emails and it also used that domain. As well, from what you note it appears to be an email providing a verification code. I confirmed that my previous verification code email was received from DONOTREPLY@fidomobile.ca .
Furthermore, that domain does appear to be owned by Rogers (see here).
If you did not request a verification code to access your My Account online and/or app, you might consider changing passwords on you accounts as a precaution.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers

Hey @Janith , yes a scam. Good catch. If you want to check the authenticity of the offer, look in the app or check online with Fido dot ca
