My daughter recently had her phone stolen so I went to replace it. My daughters phone is on my account. When I went to get the new phone the rep said I should upgrade my phone because the cost was less to upgrade mine but that my daughter could use the new phone and my old phone would still work. But now my phone has no service and I can no longer call or text using my phone. Did I get screwed?

"Wow, amazing service, Fido & Purolator! Apparently, I signed for a package I never received, while not even being home. Impressive skills! First bad experience with both of you—hopefully the last. Luckily, I have my CCTV footage to prove that your 'delivery' was pure imagination. Keep up the great work! 👏👏"

You likely have to activate your sim card. Your phone should work with any fido number/line as long as the simcard is activated.

Hello Ariscinco,
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear you've lost your phone (or had it stolen). If your device was stolen, it would be a good idea to report it to your local police station.
With regards to your services, you can report your device lost/stolen via your My Account --> View Usage & Manage. From your Dashboard, near the bottom of the page: Report lost or stolen device (under Quick Actions). Doing so would temporarily suspend your services so there won't be any unauthorised usage.
If you have Device Protection, you can initiate a claim via your Dashboard, under Other Actions.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers

Good morning @Jules73 , did you receive a new Sim card that needs to be activated, or did you just move your Sim to the new phone? If you moved your Sim card to the new device, it should work seamlessly. If you meant your old phone isn't working, did your daughter get a replacement Sim card? The Sim card would have to be activated online I believe. You can reach technical support . Here
