Chat services on Samsung not working

since I got a Samsung S22 I can't register for the blue messages chat services. I don't know what's wrong with it.

Welcome to the community!

Are you referring to the RCS chat features? You will need to open the text app and go to settings and make sure chat features are enabled also connect to WiFi to speed it up as sometimes it can take a while.

Are you on the latest OS for your S22?

no i cant activate the RCS feature, and yes I am on the latest OS for S22.

hi i noticed that my SIM phone number is different than my current phone number that i ported over from Rogers- will this affect how my Samsung S22 Androd runs? i think this is why i cant access the RCS chat features. if it does how can i fix this?

yes I am referring to the RCS chat feature. I tried to clear cache, restart, clear cache and restart, but it still won't let me register for the feature.
