Suspicious email sent or text from Fido

Hello..I just received a texted from someone saying it's Fido.

Telling me I get a 50.00 gift because I was a valuable customer and because of covid. 

I know it could be a scam...has anyone else received these texts?

Hey @Olivia14!

That does sound very suspicious! If the text was from us, it would be from a 4 or 5 digit short code and not from a normal 10 digit phone number.
