Hi

I bought the talk & text travel plan, need to know If I need to turn off both mobile data and data roaming when calling or sending texts?  I have huawei p10 lite.

Hello Pat17,

  Welcome to the community!

  If you do not wish to use roaming data, it would be safer to disable both options. That is, disable mobile data as well as disable data roaming. You should do so prior to entering the country you're visiting. You should also note that sending and receiving MMS requires data to be enabled and would be considered roaming data when travelling.

  Yes, sending or receiving SMS does not require data to be enabled.
