Remove old Fido account from online account?

I was with Fido, then left, now I'm back and have a new account number.


When I sign in to the Fido My Account app, or sign in to the Fido website on my iPhone, a pop up asks me which account I want to sign in to.  My current account, or my cancelled account.


is it possible to remove the old cancelled account, or make my current account the default account, and not have to go through this pop up each time?





Hi @Cm2017 , you should be able to get your old account removed by contacting customer support here or by communicating with a customer service representative on Twitter as fidosolutions. Hope you get this resolved

 sorry that page, on my phone, is a list of help topics, I couldn't find anything that sounds like the issue I'm facing.


I don't have twitter, but i called support, the agent said she couldn't help, she didn't have that sort of access to my account and she didn't think anybody else would.

Having same issue with a "Cancelled Account". 
I talked with support on Facebook and they told me to talk to Valadation/Verification Team so I did and they said my Account is good so they shifted me to Customer service and they told me there was still a issue with my account related to the outstanding account.

Been talking with support off and on all week and about this but as it sits Im unable to add onto my account as all support keeps getting is issues and telling me to contact later.
So as it seems i just keep getting shifted back and forth because it seems no one is able to get anywhere with my issue.

1 very helpful Person from Fido support on Facebook did say i need that account Unlinked from my current account and that should fix it.
I did even get a email from Fido with a credit for that account balance owed to so now it is in a credit of $-0.01 standing.

Right now there are some great deals and promos and this is preventing me from being able to get them.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your account! 
However, the only way we can help is by accessing it. 

Customer service is available to assist and should be able to access the accounts and unlink them for you.

Talked to Fido again and they now stated I need 6 months of postive payments to remove this issue on my account now however they never said anything about unlinking it.
