I recently switched to Fido because they had an amazing plan - $13.83/mo for 24 months for a new phone, instead of $46.32/mo. I explicitely said this was why I was going with FIDO, and the rep I talked to at the store confirmed it.
That discount, however, is NOT applied on my bill, and there are no credits that I can find to adjust it.
So my plan that SHOULD be $63.83/mo is now charging me over $90. This is complete bull.
Does FIDO do this a lot? Offer promotions then not apply them? Anyone have any suggestions for how to get customer support to retroactively apply the promotion I signed up for?

Hello EchoNeko,
Welcome to the community!
Firstly, you should note that this forum is community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we know the details of your particular situation.
In addition, you should also note that with many of the device offers, Fido does not actually discount the cost of the device. Rather, they provide a monthly credit to off-set the device cost. That monthly credit is applied to the bill and not device financing cost. The device cost shown with your offer was calcuated after bill credit.
As mentioned, we would not have the details of your device offer. From the information you provided, though, the original monthly financing fee of $46.32 and a bill credit of $32.49 would calculate to $13.83 per month.
Your bill would still show monthly Payment Program payment to be $46.32 plus taxes. The bill should also include a separate Payment Program Promotion credit of the $32.49.
It would be important to note that the monthy financing fee does not actually change, though. If you choose to end the contract early, you would still be required to pay the total remaining balance of the device. That is, the remaining balance would be $46.32 x remaining number of months, not $13.83 x remaining months as the remaining monthly credits would no longer apply.
That said, I understand you are not able to locate the credit(s) on your bill. If you would like to discuss your bill and situation, you would need to contact customer service.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
