Any option other than SMS for VM notification?

Hello.

Does Fido offer any option other than an SMS for notification of a new voicemail?  

An acquaintance often spends time in an area with marginal cell service but she does have reliable wifi.  If she could be notified of new voicemails via email or an RCS message that would be useful.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

  Sorry to hear your acquaintance often has issues with cellular service in areas she spends her time. Unfortunately, I don't think Fido offers any other means for voicemail notification. That said, if she has access to reliable Wifi and if her phone and plan are supported, Wifi-calling may be an option.

  The cellular towers and Wifi are merely alternate means of accessing the networks. With Wifi-calling she would still be connected to the network. Even if your acquaintance is unable to answer a call, she should be able to receive the SMS notifications when connected to the network via Wifi.
