I can usually find the option for extra 5 hours of data in the app, but recently with the update of the app, i am not able to find it. How can i fix this?

Same problem here!!! Try install then uninstall then install then uninstall then install again. Still no banner!!!

Can you please confirm if you're logging into the app using your phone number, or your email address, as the username?
Could you also check the ''More'' tab, and let us know if you have the option to start an extra hour session from there?

Did all those steps people discuss here. Nope. Still no banner and my history also clear.
talk/char the fido customer service also doesnt help.

Try restarting the app or clear the app cache. If you are still unable to make the option show go to MORE then MY DATA BYTES HISTORY and you should be able to access the data bytes there also.

I faced the same issue, was unable to see the option to start 1 hour free data tried searching and reached this page but it didn't solve my problem as the option mentioned above to go on more and find data history isn't available.
Solution: very easy uninstall the app and reinstall. Worked for me could Work for you as well. Worth a try..

Same problem.... tried stopping app, clearing cache, re-installing 4.9.0.108.... Extra hour is no longer accessible

Can you confirm if you are currently logged into the My Account App through your email address or your mobile number?
Can you sign out and make sure to log back in with your mobile number as your username in this case? Let us know if you see the 5 Extra Hours!
