I got my S9 from Samsung directly and it seems Fido does not enable WiFi calling for devices not purchased through Fido directly. Is there a way to enable the feature that the carrier locks specifically to the their own devices? Seems unreasonable that you can't use all your phone features because you didn't buy it from the carrier themselves.

Just a positive update on the matter:
Thanks a lot to Fido Tech Support, they finally fixed VoLTE/Wifi calling on my Galaxy S9. First time it actually works.
It was a problem with my configuration on the backend, so if it doesn't work for you and you have an S8 and above, do raise a ticket with Fido!
