Hi everyone, I'm new to Fido and have a few questions about upgrading my phone:
- I'm currently using a non-Fido device and having a Fido phone plan of 45.00$/month.
- Since Fido is having a sale, I'm looking to upgrade my device to a Samsung A20 which costs 2.00$/month (Fido Payment Program). And I want to keep my existing plan.
- The check out said my total monthly fee for this will be 47.00$/month (plan + device upgrade).
- I'm just wondering if 47.00$ is the only monthly amount I have to pay from now on, or will the new device be considered as a completely seperate line and I still have to pay the 45.00$ like I always do (which means 47.00+45.00=92.00$/month)?
-I have never upgraded my phone before so I'm just a bit confused about how this works. If anyone can help me out, it would be very much appreciated! Thank you so much!

Hello @PHUONGUYENTRAN2,
Your monthly payment including the phone would be $47 after $14.67/mo. credit.
Something to note is that the price of the phone will not change it will appear on the bill as $16.67 + $45 plan - $14.67 bill credit which will make your total monthly payment $47+taxes.
