Menu button constantly blinking.

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why my menu button on my new Nokia C6 constantly blinking?

There is no new messages. However it's blinking and it's very annoying.

How to fix this problem?

I have this phone,

The Menu Button Blinks to let you know that the battery still has power when the touch screen goes blank after a period  of NON-use.  The interval range for the time for the light to go out is 5 to 60 Seconds --> Light time-out

To ACCESS the setting:

MENU -> Settings -> Phone -> Display -> Light time-out = 5s-60s

The default setting seems to be 5 Seconds

I have My C6-00 Set to 60 Seconds

I did some looking around the Settings Menu and there are TWO OTHER settings that Might effect the Lighting Up Of the MENU Button.

Settings => Phone => Notificat. lights

In Notificat. lights there are two settings 1) Standby br. light 2) Notification light

I just checked the PDF Manual for the C6-00

Standby br. light [Standby Breathing light] ON & OFF
ON = Causes the menu key to light up periodically

{Default ON}

Notification light
1) Blink light for {Default 1h} 5 min | 30 min | 1 h | No Limit
2) Events notified {Default BOTH} Missed call | New message
