Hello FIDO forum,
Does anyone know how to speak LIVE to a customer service representative at FIDO when you DONT have a FIDO cell? So in my case, i manage my FIDO account and have my wife and kids using FIDO cells. When i try calling the 2 numbers: 1-888-481-3436 & 1-888-482-3436, no matter what options i choose, when they say to speak to an agent, they keep saying that they sent a text to my FIDO cell giving me instructions to speak to a LIVE agent...but what if i don't have the cell? I've tried all day from work, obviously i don't have access to the 3 family FIDO cells...there must be a simpler way to get in touch with a FIDO rep? Please help.
Thanks and desperate!

I have an accident with my new phone and cracked the screen. I have been trying to get access to Fido customer service to request information how to replace it and what deal can I have because it's a new phone. It is like trying to talk with the Pope. After several hours trying to find their customer service, useless jumping on their website windows, not mentioning their useless virtual assistant, I'm still trying to find help to resolve my issue. I'm going to wait until my contract ends and change company. It's not worthy to waste too much time trying to get some help.

Hello Claudia77,
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear you've cracked the screen on your new phone. Had you purchased device protection for the device? If you had, you can submit a device protection service request (see here).
Fido does offer their Satisfaction Guarantee and Manufacturer's Warranty on devices. Unfortunately, I don't think a damaged screen is covered under warranty.
Unfortunately, I am no longer able to find any information on the Fido website regarding repair requests for devices without device protection. If you do not have device protection, you may need to contact the manufacturer of your device to see if they can recommend their warranty repair shop. While a damaged screen won't likely be covered, having the device repaired at a warranty repair shop might allow the remaining device to be covered by warranty.
Hope this helps 😀

Hello Alloucherie,
Welcome to the community!
Fido Nomade or Fido Roam is a plan benefit for the Data, Talk & Text plans, as well as the Talk & Text plans:
~taken from Fido.ca.
As a plan benefit, the feature is already enabled. If you did not wish to use the feature, you would need to opt-out of Fido Roam. In doing so, your usage would be on a pay-per-use basis. You can view those rates here.
In order to prevent unintended roaming charges, it is generally recommended to disable data and roaming data. However, you should note that disabling those settings does not prevent roaming for voice and messaging. In addition, some manufacturers might allow some data usage to occur despite those settings (see here). That's why it is also generally recommended to enable Airplane and/or Flight modes in order to prevent unintended roaming usage. You could then manually enable Wifi when required.
You should note the forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. If you wished to discuss your matter and/or opt-out of Fido Roam, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
Hope this helps 😀

Good morning @criccio , I understand your issue. You might want to contact Fido customer support on Twitter at fidosolutions and ask for the service representative for help. It's a dialogue by direct message from an agent. This works best for me when I can't sit by a phone.
