Not being able to receive or make calls is definitively not ideal.
Have you tried to unplug the modem and remove the battery? Did you get a chance to remove and put back in the sim card as well?
You should have 4 lights displayed if it's plugged in. Are all 4 lights on?

yes done all that, but thanks, I had 4 green lights and my message light was flashing, after I took the sim card out and put it back in I now only have 3 green lights and a red where internet is. Fido can't seem to help me, getting ready to cancel phone and go elsewhere, grrrrrrrrr
Already contacted you, did the trouble shoot and they said it was being sent up the chain to the techs and would be fixed in 24 hours. That was on May 1st., still not fixed.
