Hello, this is more of a curiosity question than anything really. I have been with fido over 4 years now, on another person's account but little over a month ago I switched out and got a new phone, number and account in my name. I am unable to purchase anything in games via fido billing like I was when I was with the other person's account. I believe this has something to do with the "newness" of my own account, but I just wanted to clarify it. So do I have to personally contact Fido to get in-game purchases allowed via billing or is there a periodic time that I'm just not allowed to with a new account?

Hey @ElegantKa0s and welcome to the Community.

To answer your question, even as a brand new customer you are eligible to purchase premium games and have them billed to your Fido invoice.

You would need to make sure that your device is compatible for the games. You can verify this here.

There is a maximum amount of purchases:

  • In-game purchases cannot exceed $49.99 per transaction
  • In-game transactions cannot exceed  $500 per month, per user

What happens exactly when you try to purchase the games?
