Im in a strange situation where some of my texts appear not to send but my recepient gets multiples of the same message.  As well this happens with rogers on my parents and sisters phone.  What can be the cause and fix?

I've tried restarting my phone but to no avail

i have a galaxy S5

my family members have other phones that are slightly newer.

Hello @vinmar13,

Since you have an Android phone I'm wondering if you are not seeing the delivered message because the other party does not have an Android phone or RCS enabled.

If you are using the default Samsung messaging app try clearing the app cache or try using the Google Messages app and see if that helps.

im wording if the sim card is getting old or if theres something i can reset or update?

Hello @vinmar13

Did you try clearing the app cache or using another texting app? You can also try doing a network reset.

Since you are using an S5 and if you never changed your SIM card since you got the phone you can try updating the card also.
