I am overcharged and winback offers/promotions are not applied properly in my first bill

I am supposed to get a promotion of $50 on top of $80 monthly plan (20GB, Talk & Text - BYOP). But my first bill is showing a discount of $26.12 on monthly charges from Apr 11 - May 10 and $23.88 on monthly charges (partial) Mar 14 - Apr 10. 

As per customer representatives first month will be like this and Fido can give only one discount in one bill. This does not look right to me and in my case I feel Fido is overcharging and not providing the promotions & discounts as they are communicationg to customer or present in service agreement.


Hi @biswajan87 , when I look at the numbers you provided, they add up to $50. It looks like they split it between 2 billings. Unless I'm missing some, you have already received your $50 promotion. Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding

Hi @Original_Lucy  yes they split it between 2 billings. My understanding is I should get the promotions/offers in both billings, not $50 split withing 2 billings.

On our end, the discounts are applied once per bill. 
When the bill includes two months' worth, it is split for those two months.


We understand the confusion this can cause, as it often happens that more than a month is being billed on your first invoice.
However, for the following invoices, the credits will apply in full for the regular monthly charge.
