Hi @LouMarie , I believe you have to call in to Fido customer support to opt out of fido Roam. I think it's active by default so that you don't build up a huge bill when you're traveling. If you do travel without it, I recommend removing your sim card and keep it in a safe place ( I put mine in my phone case under my phone) then you can use services like what's app and Facebook messenger over wifi. 😉
