I've paid over 250$ into the insurance only to find out I will have to pay another $99 for repair for overheating and my cracked screen is not covered because i didn't go through fido for insurance...but bought it from one of those mall stores that sold me a fido phone plan.
What a joke. Waste of money. Should have got apple care or costco or anything else.
I am sorry to see there was any kind of mix-up about the protection package you purchased. A processing fee is always applicable on the Brightstar side with our Fido Device Protection. This processing fee includes the repair of the screen if it has been damaged.
Can you provide us more details as to what you mean when you say you didn't go through Fido for insurance but instead got it from from a store at the mall?
