Billing after leaving Fido

Hello! I recently purchased a Fido sim on 31st December opting for the 49$ plan which comes with 8 gb.  However, I've moved to another network on 3rd Jan and my Fido account has been suspended. I've received a bill from Fido to pay $101 from the period 1st to 31st of January. Shouldn't the billing be only for the usage ? I was with Fido only for 4 days roughly. But, if I move to another network, should I pay for the whole month?

Hello @Daita,

Welcome to the community!

We are billed a month in advance, you created the account on the 31st so your billing cycle will start from the 1st. If you make any changes in your billing cycle whether it be a plan change or cancellation those changes will appear on your next billing cycle and will include and prorated adjustments.

So you will need to pay this invoice to avoid any late payment fees and your next and final invoice will have all the prorated charges and if Fido owes you any money which they will in your case they will send you a refund.
