Anyone ever have frustrations with Live Chat?

So I see that a competitor is offering a lower cost option than my plan with Fido. Let's call them R Wireless. So I contact Fido via Live Chat with the simple inquiry: they offer what you offer but at a lower price, are you able to price match with them?

 

The Live Chat employee instead of saying yes, or maybe...let me check, or even the less enjoyable flat out no, starts answering completely different questions than I asked. The question was written there in plain text, so it is difficult to believe that she couldn't "hear me properly".

 

Then, when I try to clarrify my request, tries to offer me other wireless plans that cost more than my current plan - and offer less! Come on Fido, you can do better than that. Just tell me that you don't want to offer me a lower price, it'll save us all time and frustration. 

 

Anybody else connect with a Live Chat employee who enjoyed to play "broken telephone" with you?
