Xperia Pro Problem

i got the sony xperia pro today. txt messages and wifi work fine. however i  cannot send or recieve picture messages. called fido, they reset my phone, still nothin, any ideas or suggestions would be great. thanks

Hey everyone!

I know this is an older post yet i wanted to add a little update

It is true that MMS works via Fido internet yet no data option is required. For unlocked phones all correct Fido MMS and internet settings need to be in place and data connection to be on/active on any phone.

With the new plans nowadays data options are more common, therefore MMS should work.

Do you have a data option activated on your account?  The reason I ask is because MMS will only function via Fido's network, and access to internet is required in order to use that service. Without a data option you do not have access to the web via our network, and by default that means you will not have access to MMS.
