Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Android 10 Update

Hello! I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Global version and on their website, it says that the Android 10 (EMUI 12) has been rolled out in October. Wondering if anyone who has this phone got their update yet? OR... Is it something that I need to sideload.

Hello Jonochan,

  Since Fido does not offer any Xiaomi devices, they won't be able to provide any updates for those devices. In fact, I don't believe any Canadian mobile provider offers devices from that manufacturer so none of them would be able to provide updates. You would need to sideload the update for your device.
