Why is the iPhone 13 Pro 1tb back ordered?

The reason why I went for the 13 pro 1tb is because was expecting to get it sooner than if I ordered a 14 pro. I need the storage and the phone before the end of the month. 

Why is a discontinued phone on backordered? And why does Fido sells it like they have it in stock?

When I checked out it told me it should ship within 2-5 days. Now it's telling me 4+ weeks?? Like if you can't find stock for a discontinued phone within a normal timeframe, where are you going to find stock in 4+ weeks?

I am on the same boat as you. I have been given the runaround with no concrete timeframe. Worse, I have a pending trade in for 2 old phones thinking I will receive the 2 iphone 13 pros I ordered. I might just cancel my order. This is very frustrating.
