Hello again Lwilson,

  To reiterate what was mentioned to you in your previous post here, if no one answers the landline and there is no answering service or machine, there will be no place to 'leave' the text and therefore will not be successfully delivered. It's the same if you're texting a landline in California or your landline at home.

@lwilson To send a text to a home phone you just send the text just as you would to a cellphone. The cost is 25 cents per message. You can get full details here.
