Text Message Sync

I just replaced my 3GS with the iphone 4. When my text messages transferred to the new phone, I only received the messages up to June 6,2011. Everything from then to today did not transfer. Can you tell me why?

Depends when you last backed up your iPhone 3GS. When you got your iPhone 4, you applied your 3GS' backup to your new iPhone. Sounds like you applied a backup from around June 6. Otherwise, it's a glitch. I received a replacement iPhone from Apple before and that's how it works.
