Cannot send text messages

New samsung G1 will not send text messages. Receives ok, 5 bars, etc. etc. have tried all suggestions on forums all "failed"

I have the same proble Iphone 6. I took the Sim card out and it didn´t work

You had a chance to restart your phone to see if you get the same result?

Also, this happens indoor and outdoor as well?

What tests exactly have you tried so far? Is this happening with all numbers or just with specific contacts?

 

Have you tried inserting your SIM card in another phone? What happens?

Hi, unable to SEND text messages to anyone. What is message centre number exactly the way it should appear in message settings? I am in Lake Louise AB network seems EXTREMELY slow never had anything like these problems with good ol' reliable Blackberry until it went for a swim and was replaced with this POS Samsung. If I were to purchase another BB10 phone will it work on Fido for the foreseeable future? Thanks & have a good day, Mike

I took a look on my end and there should definitely be coverage in Lake Louise, Alberta. You can confirm that on our coverage map

 

For the Text Message Centre number, it should be  +1 514 993-1123.

 

Is this what you have in your settings?
