Sharing the data between two lines

I know that there should be an option in the settings of the phones that allows the sharing of data. I have two lines and I would like to use data from my second line on my primary line. How can I do this?

i have a plan with too much data. I wish to share it with my wife's cellphone, which has no data plan. and we are not always sit together or nearby. Can we share the data plan?

Hello Johnlee169,

  Welcome to the community!

Fido does not offer any shared plans. It would not be possible for your wife to share your data when she is not connected to your device via tether or Wifi-hotspot.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers

FYI, your must using a tethering enabled plan from fido ( most our plans have tethering enabled already),  and this feature is draining the battery from host device really fast, other device must be nearby to use the shared data.

I think you mean "Tethering", or "Mobile hotspot", more info can be found here

Most smartphones have this feature built'in already.

You should just need to enable the hopspot feature from your phone setting, then creaet a password to let other device to connect.
