Can I turn off data from the account

I have a teenager and we used to be with virgin where I could turn off data in the app. Is there a way to do this from the account ? Or do I need to cancel my services and go back to my old service ?

Proof of Purchase/Receipt

I upgraded my cellphone one year ago didn't pay it in full i'm paying it month by month along the plan ,but I need the Proof of the device Purchase/Receipt I went through the app and web site but couldn't find anything.
