Receiving phone call notifications when phone is off

If my phone is out of range or it is on airplane mode or it is switch off, after that when its on i never get message for the phone calls which i received during that time period. Like the calls which i have missed, how will i get to know about them. I don't receive any message or notification. Please help me....

  Welcome to the community!

  Unfortunately, if your phone is not available on the networks (ie switched off or Airplane/Flight mode enabled etc) when a call to your number is made, you will not know that someone had attempted to call your line unless they left a voicemail message. It would be a similar situation to calling a landline with no answering machine. Fido used to have a WhoCalled feature which provided a text message with that information. However, that service has not been available for a while now (see here).
