Question about switching to bb.

I have had my phone and plan for a year and a half. I want to get a bb. My current phone is not a smartphone. For a bb, do you need anything special to use bbm. If i do, can i add it to my current plan?

if you simply just bought the bb to replace an existing phone then sure just pop in the sim and awway u go. if u have a non blackberry data plan, then call up fido and see if there is a similar blackberry version of this data plan, and choose this one from now on no matter what phone u get. then if u decide to go back to a diferrent phone u can keep your bb data plan and still use it for normal internet surfing on the non bb.
