I changed my personal general voicemail greeting in July. I did all the correct steps to change it, in fact several times just to be sure, Now it's December. My iphone greeting setting plays me back that new greeting just as I recorded it. And if I phone my own line from the phone, I get the proper greeting. But I've just found out that other people who phone me still hear the older greeting rather than the new one. So I tried calling my iPhone from an outside line just to hear what other callers were hearing. Sure enough they are hearing the older, unchanged greeting. So why are callers from outside lines still hearing the old greeting? I tried just now to update it, did all the steps, and the Fido greeting system acknowledged that I successfully updated it,. I play it back in the system and hear the saved new greeting no problem. Then I tested it by calling from an outside line and I STILL hear the old greeting!
