Why do not I still receive the new Android 9 software? On my Huawei P10 Plus, if it has already been released since April 24

Hey,

We wanted to let you all know that we've just heard back from Huawei and anyone with a P10 will receive the Android P update by June 5, and those with a P10+ will receive it by May 30.

It will be paired with the May SMR, which is the most recent update.

My current version is : VTR-L09 8.0.0.327(C654), Android security patch is Nov. 5th 2018.

Hi there - my device is a FIDO device.  I have not received the update, and have checked at least three times this morning, but still no update.  It is a P10 - VTR-L09.  Please PM me and let me know what I can do.

After doing some more digging I found this answer on the Huawei P10 sub-forum on XDA

Tried this but it would only download 8.0 firmware package.

You'd think they were trying to put a man on Mars with these Android updates.. how hard could it be?! Maybe back to iOS next go around idk.. (where you get the update SAME DAY!)

I checked my phone for the update from April 24 until 5 times a day, until today, now I am happy, and more with the bad news from google and huawei

I got my pie update too. So far so good, it is very smooth compared to oreo

I don't get it... the v9 update seems to have been available since early April according to

and VTR-L09C654 is the exact model I got from Fido... At this point, Fido must be blocking the update...

That's what I think, here is my model too
