It has been supremely difficult to get support from FIDO regarding this. They are trying to discourage me from doing this.
Can anyone help?

Tried reaching out to the live chat specialist. Was denied stating that I can only get it from a store. I was roaming internationally where there was no store.

With what phone are you trying to use an eSIM? I'm not sure why they would be trying to discourage you from transferring from SIM to eSIM. Is it possible eSIM for your phone isn't supported?
As mentioned above most retail stores can provide the eSIM QR codes (except Best Buy) (see here). Do you have one of the devices listed in that link?

Customer service should be able to help you with this not sure why they would try to discourage you. You can also get it done in any retail store except BestBuy.

I'm also waiting for on-line chat to get an eSIM. It's taking forever. Why not make directly available when signing up for service?

You can definitely get an eSIM when signing up for our service, you'll simply need to go to a store or to give us a call.
