Changing phones, same number

Hi, I'm thinking of getting the new iphone 5c, and since it uses a nano sim card instead of a regular sim card which I have, do I need to buy a new nano sim card?  WIll i stil have the same number or will i have to get a new number?

Also I know you can trim your own sim card to a nano sim, have any of you tried that?

Hi there Ham_88,

A new SIM card is 10$, and yes you'll keep the same number, plan, etc.

I tried trimming down my regular SIM when I upgraded to the S3. Honestly, it didn't work. The phone never recognized it. Maybe I over trimmed.

But give it a shot,  let us know.
