Blacklisted phone

i was wondering my account was involved in fraud where someone ordered a phone on my name. I recieved an email that the phone was on its way but i didnt recieve it. they removed the phone from my account but what will happened to the phone. will it be blacklisted so the person won't be able to use or if it eventually comes in the mail should i send it back?? because i've recently upgraded my phone and i've been with fido for years and this is all new to me.
