why I didn't have discount?

I set up my card with my friend and the same person helped us. At that time, we all don't know the discount. But when she paid for the first bill on fido app, she found that she had a 10 dollars discount. However!!!!! When I check my bill, I didn't have this discount! I was so frustrated that she had the discount but I did have. I can't understand that! Who can give me a explaination of what is the discount and why I didn't have it??? We set up by the same person!!!
