I would like to know this as well.

If you call in the evening or on the weekend there is unlimited canada wide calling with no long distance fees. If you can during your anytime minutes period (7am-6pm) you will deducted time from your allotted anytime minutes in your plan.
To answer your question more directly, yes, if you call during your unlimited evenings and weekends period it is essentially unlimited canada-wide long distance calling.

Yes, all your calls will be deducted from your 200 minutes, including Canadian long distance calls. You will not be charged Canadian long distance fees of course, but if you exceed your 200 minutes you will be charged airtime fees, around $0.45 per minute depending on your plan.

It looks like the way answers are provided here is different from my understanding. My concerns around the complicated Fido plans made me call the contact centre yesterday, yet i still have doubt.
Please answer me in simple form. The 200 LD minutes i have, if i call my country (in the list of permitted country), will i be charged? What does the $3/mo mean? Will time of call impact this package?
Kindly provide clarity.

Hey @Myk_Fortune! Welcome to the community. 🙂
To clarify, any long distance call made to the countries included in your 200 long distance minutes package will deduct from these 200 minutes. Any long distance calls you make after the minutes are used up, or if you call a country not included in your package, will be charged at pay-per-use rates per minute. Rates can be found here.
Hope this helps!

Yes, it does. Thank you!

so the "unlimited Canada wide long distance" should have been named as "including Canada wide calls" instead!
This is misleading!
