fido is putting a credit limit on my account, why is this?

hello, my fido account is under my dads name (because i am still a minor) and all of a sudden there is the CLM on my account. because of this my dad is unable to switch from Rogers to fido. we,fido and equitax are all so confused on why this is happening because my dad has excellent credit and equitax recognises that. can someone please explain to me what is going on because my brother and dad both want to switch to a fido service. p.s my contract has expired already and have not missed a payment

Hello brian1212,

If you are not satisfied with the credit verification results and would like to request a revision, I invite you to contact the Credit Bureau company which performed the credit verification on your account:

Equifax Canada
1 800 278-0278
www.equifax.ca

TransUnion Canada
1 866 525-0262 (all provinces except Québec)
1 877 713-3393 (Québec only)
www.transunion.ca

Please note that as a third party, we cannot access or modify an individual's detailed credit report; our interaction with Credit Bureaus is solely for credit assessments.

I hope this clarifies.
