Hey surfrider!

That's odd! What was the buddy/friend that you added? Was it FSrelayservice@yahoo.com?

We have many different options for Relay services: IP Relay, Online Message Relay, and Message Relay (using a teletypewritter).

You can reach IP Relay by following these steps:

- From the Fido.ca homepage, click Accessibility Services located at the bottom of the page.
- Under the IP Relay Services section, click Register.
- Complete the registration by creating a Fido IP Relay profile on the IP Registration page and click Next.
- Read over the Terms and Conditions and click Accept Terms and Conditions.
- The user ID and password will be sent to you by email.
- The IP Relay service is active and ready to use within 48 hours.

You can reach Online Message Relay by following these steps:

- Log in to My Account on Fido.ca
- Log in to your Interactive Messaging Service (Yahoo, MSN, AOL).
- Add corresponding buddy/friend to your list:
                  Yahoo!: FSrelayservice@yahoo.com
                  MSN: FSrelayservice@hotmail.com
                  AOL: FSrelayservice@aol.com

And you can reach Message Relay (using a teletypewritter) by following these steps:

- Dial 7-1-1

- Operator will ask for number to reach.
- Operator will call number and remain on-line to provide the following:
                   Type message into teletype
                   OR
                   Read response message sent

Hope this helps!
