After service being ended in March 2024, it's now been five months since. I had to call to even get the cheque many weeks later - I never even received it after 8 weeks (they said it would take 6-8 weeks). Second call they said they would send it and shouldn't take more than 3-4 weeks (weeks to get a mail in the same province?). It's now been a month and a bit after that. The kicker? I didn't even cancel the service but Fido cancelled it because they stopped providing home internet.
What is going on with Fido refunds? How does it take almost half a year to not even receive a cheque?
