Hello just advising everyone that there’s a number sending text messages explains that the customer over paid there bill and to click the link to claim the refund. The number is +1 306 241 5213. I advice everyone not to click the link. I don’t know what malware of any kind it contains or the type of scam it could be. It spells Rogers communications as R0GERSC0MMUNICATIONS.

Hey @Dstarp,

Thanks for sharing!

You're right! This is definitely not from Fido so be sure to forward the message to 7726 (SPAM) and avoid clicking on the link. You can then safely delete the message.

As a general rule, all your charges and credits will be available on your Fido invoice. This can be accessed on Fido.ca at all times, and we will never send you a suspicious link to click on.

You can find more information on scam text messages here!

Hope this clarifies, and let us know if you have any questions.
