No outgoing sound since I start using Fido. In Messages setting slider set to sound but to no avail. Incoming messages, no problem.
Setting / Text messages / Message Centre phone number is grayed but it shouldn't be a problem and then again, you never know.
I'm using Note 9 which for some reason doesn't have all that configurations fixes suggested online. I know my phone is okay because there is sound when send messages used with one of those messaging apps.
Any ideas?

It was fine before I switched sims cards to Fido.
Next I knoticed after sending message an icon wouldn't come up
but because sound would come up only if message reaches other
phone, it wouldn't bother me. My next message went in reply to
one I just received so I knew other phone is on but again icon and
sound wouldn't come up.
I tried Google to find solution but every tip would suggest to use
non existing config option not applicable to my phone.
I'm using Note 9 with latest updates last one 7 days ago, which
BTW wouldn't fix the problem.

Thanks for the update!
Can you tell me if this is a Fido phone or an unlocked device please?
Also, have you tried to reset the settings in your device? Details how below:

Thanks for reply.
Yes, it was working fine 10 days ago but as I've said it stopped since then.
The only config I have in Text messages > Show when delivered is checked
but that doesn't make any difference... no outgoing sound.

Thanks for the update @bonafide! Can you tell us the following:
1. What is the OS version on your Note9? Is it up to date?
2. Have you tried to restart your device?
3. Were there any changes made and/or updates done to your device 10 days ago, when it stopped working?
4. Does the sound problem only limited to outgoing messages and no other fonction?
Thanks!

Hey @bonafide,
I'm sorry to see you're having this kind of difficulty. You mentioned this start happening when you started using the Fido services. To clarify, were you previously using this same phone with another service and this feature was working?
Have you tried looking in the Sound & Vibrations settings to be sure everything is properly enabled from there?
