No network, sim card unregistered after changing plan

I recently changed my account's plan to a prepaid over phone. I added $10 to it successfully.

However my phone has not worked since it changed to prepaid, it says unregistered sim and no network is detected. I cannot dial 611 or anything. 

I called Fido a few times and they said they removed a blockage from my account and it will work now but it still does not work. 

I also live internationally so I cannot visit a Fido store but I need this phone number to verify important accounts. I am not sure what to do anymore.
